Q’eqchi’ Association Xch’ool Ixim Executive Director, Fredy Oxom, and Director of Development, Ava Berinstein, attended the Central America Donors Forum #CADF24 in Antigua, Guatemala, from October 7 – 9.  This amazing event brought together 1,036 participants! It was a unique opportunity to network with and learn from an international array of organizations. Most importantly, we saw first-hand how government agencies, private sector organizations, and indigenous-led NGOs could work together to build transformational partnerships.

Alongside a shared vision for democracy and social justice; there were workshops and plenary sessions with a focus on sustainable & inclusive partnerships, supporting youth & social movement, defending democracy, and environment & climate justice.
