Concepción Che Tut: A Living Example of Leadership and Commitment

Concepción Che Tut embodies resilience, perseverance, and dedication to her community. Originally from Uspantán, Quiché, she was displaced due to the internal armed conflict and found a new home in the village of San José Peña Blanca I, where she has devoted her life to serving others.

Her Life and Work

Throughout her life, Concepción has demonstrated remarkable resilience and leadership. During the internal armed conflict, she played a crucial role as a health promoter, providing support to women and communities affected by violence. A Role Model for Women and Girls

Concepción Che Tut is a determined and visionary woman who has dedicated her life to supporting girls, young women, and mothers, equipping them with the tools to transform their lives. Her story and achievements serve as a beacon of inspiration for women in the Nimlajacoc region and beyond.

We are confident that her participation in the 2025 Board of Directors will further strengthen the work of our association and contribute significantly to our mission of building more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable communities.
