We are extremely grateful to the Fabretto Children’s Foundation and its nutritional partner, TALITAKUMI, for giving #Q’eqchi’ Association Xch’ool Ixim (Heart of Corn) a case of “MannaPacks,” a nutritious soy supplement that will help benefit the health and well-being of our primary school indigenous #Maya students in the rural district of Nimlaha’kok, #AltaVerapaz. For the most part, 90% of our primary school students do not bring lunch to school. Now, thanks to a generous donation from Fabretto, the Escuela Comunidad San José Peña Blanca students enjoyed a nutritional boost to their day. They are already anxiously awaiting tomorrow, as they have requested “more!”
