K’amolb’e, our secondary Maya Community Institute is the only Q’eqchi’ educational center in the Nimlaha’kok region that offers middle-level, diversified cycle education.  Thanks to a generous contribution of 20 laptops (with more to follow) from the non-profit Chaptops, we are pleased to announce that: We have a new computer lab!

1. All students and teachers will now have access to laptops, and

2. The number of students has increased from 31 students in 2023, to 46 students!

Technology is growing and so is our Q’eqchi’ student population.
