
The Technical Training Program (CaTec) strengthens educational and training opportunities for young people through technical courses at our secondary school, the Maya Community Institute K’amolb’e (IMaCK). The training program spans three years with the following modules:
- Year 1: Integrated Agricultural Production Management
- Year 2: Poultry Management
- Year 3: Start Your Future (Entrepreneurship)
The first semester of the Integrated Agricultural Production Management course, has already witnessed tangible results:
- 28 IMaCK students are currently enrolled in the course.
- Students have planted eight types of crops, including: cilantro, carrot, cucumber, cabbage, chili pepper, black nightshade, climbing beans, and papaya.
- All 28 students implemented a garden in their communities.

Graduates of the program will:
- receive certification to pursue a career in agronomy and become entrepreneurs.
- Students will have greater opportunities to enter university, increase family income, and contribute to community development.
