The founders, teachers, students and community members were present in the celebration. The day started with a Maya Ceremony, followed by a performance of the Dance of the Deer.

The elders and founders explained the origin of the organization and they shared some traditional foods. Later on, there was a music performance and some of the guests danced and enjoyed the rest of the party.
